James Dyche

Hello, I'm James. I'm a self-taught illustrator, poet and writer, making things that feel personal, playful, or a little unexpected. From poems and prose to hand-drawn illustrations, my work moves between words and images, often finding the humour, feeling or detail that makes something distinctly its own. This is a small, quiet corner of the internet where I gather the work I make and the creative paths I'm building. Dyche Studio is home to my original illustrations, bringing together loose linework, handwritten lettering, colour and a little wonkiness across art, cards and gifts. It's another expression of the same creative instinct that drives my writing: a love of words, visual storytelling and making things with character.
